Vanderbilt Corwith Fire Rescue is a joint Village/Township operated emergency response department whose mission is to prevent loss of life and property.

Responding to fires, the department also responds to medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents, rescue calls, and incidents involving hazardous materials.

Meetings are held at the Township Hall, 8170 Mill Street, Vanderbilt Michigan, on the 2nd Monday of the month. Meeting Schedule: 6PM on March 11, 2024, April 8, 2024, May 13, 2024, June 10, 2024, July 8, 2024, August 12, 2024, September 9, 2024, October 14, 2024, November 11, 2024, December 9, 2024, January 13, 2025, February 10, 2025, and March 10, 2025. Meetings are held at the Township Hall, 8170 Mill Street, Vanderbilt Michigan.

NOTICE OF VACANCY:
Corwith Township is seeking applicants for the open position on the Vanderbilt-Corwith Fire & Rescue Authority Board as the at large member. You must be a resident of Corwith Township to serve in this position. If interested in serving in this capacity, please complete an application for appointment obtainable at the Township Hall and submit to the Corwith Township Board, PO Box 100, Vanderbilt MI 49795. Position will remain open until filled.
